The problem.
The LSAT is a reading test pretending to be a logic test. Most students approach it as a body of rules to memorize and a set of tricks to apply. That's not how it works.
The test rewards careful reading, sharp inference, and disciplined time management. The people who score well are not the ones who've memorized the most prep questions. They're the ones who've learned to think clearly under time pressure, who recognize the patterns the test relies on, and who understand which mistakes are worth fixing and which aren't.
You can teach yourself most of this from books and courses. Some of it benefits from another reader looking at your work, asking why you chose what you chose, and helping you see the reasoning you missed.
Who is this is for.
Students who've taken at least one practice LSAT and want help understanding what they got wrong and why. Students preparing for an early test date who want a focused tutor rather than a self-paced course. Students who've plateaued in their practice scores and need an outside reader to identify what's actually holding them back.
Who this isn't for: students looking for an LSAT specialist who has scored 175+ and devoted their professional life to the test. Those tutors exist, they're often very good, and they charge $200–$300 per hour. My pitch is different — I'm a JD who has been through the process and can help you with both the test and the larger admissions picture it sits inside.
§ One-on-one tutoring focused on your specific weaknesses. Each session targets a particular section, question type, or reasoning pattern based on your most recent practice work.
§ Detailed feedback on every practice test you submit. Mock test reviews involve me looking at your test in advance so the session is targeted rather than exploratory.
§ Strategy for the entire application cycle, not just the test. The LSAT score matters in the context of your school list. I can help you think about both at once — and adjust your strategy based on actual results.
§ Email Q&A support throughout the engagement. Send me a question by email when you're stuck between sessions. I respond within 48 hours.
Ten one-on-one sessions sessions, 3 Mock Test Reviews, Unlimited Email Q & A. Recommended to start ~ 6 months from your planned LSAT test date

What's your LSAT score?
STEP 4
Final mock tests
In the last 8 weeks before your official test, mock test reviews dial in pacing, stamina, and the strategies you'll actually use.
I'll answer honestly when you ask. The more important thing to know is that I’ve taught Constitutional Law and Criminal Procedure to undergraduates for four years and have worked in law in over four settings. I'm a JD who teaches, not a high-scorer who tutors.
Should I work with you or with a specialist?
If your goal is to go from a 168 to a 175 in eight weeks, a specialist is probably the better choice. If you're working to break 160, or trying to understand the test rather than memorize it, or wanting one person to help with both the LSAT and your application strategy, I'm a good fit.
Can I bundle this with personal statement work?
Yes. Most students who do tutoring with me also work with me on their personal statement and broader application strategy. Bundled packages have discounted pricing — ask about the combined rate when we talk.
Virtual or in-person?
Either. Virtual works well for most students. If you're in the Denver / Boulder area, in-person sessions are available at no additional cost.
